Crown Retention After 10,000 TC
Test: Crown-pull Bond Strength Testing
- Ceramics were treated with 5% HF and silanated.
- All adhesives were used in self-etch mode.
- All cements were self-cured except for the group with optional light-curing through crown.
- Artificial aging: 10,000 thermocycling (5-55C).
Uninterrupted Initial Bonding at Chairside
Test: 6-Minute Dentin Shear Bond Strength
- Calibra Ceram Cement was used with Prime&Bond active Adhesive; other materials with respective primers and adhesives according to manufacturers instructions.
- Prime&Bond active Adhesive was light cured while Scotchbond Universal and Multilink Primers A/B were not light cured.
- All cements were selfcured.
- Specimens were debonded after 6 minutes storage at 37C and 100% Relative Humidity.
