Melatonin is a neuro-hormone (amino acid) naturally produced in the pineal gland in the brain and present in high amounts in the gastrointestinal tract.* It is involved in many of the body, brain and glandular biological functions including regulation of normal sleep/wake cycles.* This liquid format allows for controlled dosing.*

Recommended Use:

Shake well. Take 1 full dropper (approx. 0.9 mL) just prior to bedtime as needed. Take directly or add to your favourite beverage. For use beyond 4 weeks, consult a health care practitioner.

Other Ingredients:

Water, Vegetable Glycerine, Fructose, Xylitol, Ethanol, Organic Orange Extract (Citrus sinensis), Natural Vanilla Flavour(Vanilla planifolia), Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Natural Lemon Oil (Citrus limon) and Flavex-LC Natural Flavour.

Cautions:

Consult a health care practitioner if you have a hormonal disorder, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, migraine, hypertension, if you are taking blood pressure or sedative/hypnotic medications, or if chronic insomnia persists continuously for more than 4 weeks. Do not use if you are taking immunosuppressive drugs or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not drive or se machinery for 5 hours after taking.
